Yea so i never write anymore, and thats probably casue I am always working/singing/doing something else.
But yea, Sils concert is not this weekend but next weekend, we are pumping out songs as if our life depended upon it. So yea, alot of singing me with allergies, not a good mix. But in other news I did lose 20 pounds since December. woot! Im gunna keep going til i get to my goal. House party was fun, and not so rainy as last year! Good memories with friends.

This past weekend, my friend jason's a cappella group from GW came up to sing with beyond unison, sadly he could not come due to EMT stuff, o well, i got to meet the other members of his group who were alot of fun to hang out with. Good weekend.

Today not so good of a day. I kind of hate housing right now. I decided to do Choice next year, cause of the bad experience I had with people on my hall this year. And plus I can get a single. But of course with my luck I am stuck and now dont really know whats going on. Hopefully this will be cleared up in the near future.

Wow i haven't written anything in a while.
I dunno how I am surviving this semester. I can't wait til thanksgiving! I get to go home! first time since ive moved in. Its kind of crazy. Even though this semester has been crazy with work, it has also been fun. Love our room in the 7th street house, we made it very liveable and pretty. Besides having problems with bees,hornets, and squirels in our crawl space making noise, its all good. Oh i forgot the heater making really loud banging noises that wake us up in the middle of the night. Anyway. My managment class is a great experience and we are doing amazing. We sold out by the third day, our product is awesome, and now its crazy hell time for me, casue i need to organize this presentation, and hopefully everyone will come to rehearsals, so far this weekend practically half the company was missing. uh oh.

Sils is doing great. We are pumping out songs like its our job. New songs include: How will i know: arranged by me ; Helplessly Hoping; All I want for Christmas is you ( to be performed at night before finals); Son of a Preacher man; and i believe that is it for now, we will probably learn another one before finals lol. But we ahve a bunch on the sideline all arranged and ready to be learned! excitied including another song i arranged.

Music stuff is going pretty well. My voice teacher doesnt hate me. Ive been alittle behind, but im still trying really hard and its showing. Theory ehhh, might be the death of me , but watever, only one more semester left of theory then im DONE!!

I was trying to come up with doing an interdepartimetal major for Music Managment, but i dont think that im going to continue with it. It was a good plan while it lasted, but i dunno if i have the time and energy to put into making this major.I think im gunna stick with music, and just take a bunch of management courses.

the parents and Mark Anthony came up this weekend to see 311 with me, it was a good concert I enjoyed!

HARRY POTTER comes out this friday! We are driving to the mall to see it friday night. And yes i do know that there is a showing at the Campus theater at 12:00 thursday night. but its thursday night and i have class at 9 lol.

I LOVE the Silhouettes! they rock my world. We finished recording out CD today. We finished way early which is amazing, we did one song in just one take. which is amazing.

Well this weekend was fun, and much needed due to way too much work. Friday afternoon after classes Stacey and I went downtown for a CVS run and just to walk up and down market street. Then later that evening Erik (stacey's boyfriend) came to visit from penn state. So she was really happy. They are so cute! Spent friday night hanging out with the girls at first then they open mic night, and hanging out with some friends and some people who i really didn't know that well. lol. But it was still alot of fun.

Yesterday was crazy, I had silhouettes auditions all day, but the previous night i didn't get much sleep, and i had a major sinus headache so i was pretty blah all day. I was going to try and go out at night but while watching the movie on the rooke chapel lawn i got really cold, and just decided to go back to the room and maybe sleep.

So today a feel a lot better! Hopefully I will get some work done today.We had Silhouettes call backs and asked 4 girls to join our group! This week is going to be crazy with classes, work, and sils rehearsal all week, due to the fact that we will be recording on the 17th! crazy!

Back at BUCKNELL! really happy to see everyone! Yesterday was the night before classes concert for the freshmen, but I believe there were more upper classmen than freshman. That's totally fine with me I got to see a bunch of people that I haven't seen yet and such. And I had a really fun time, casue it was really nice out last night, and of course it is always fun when gruby starting singing in the middle of Smith Quad. And i love my room it is awesome, and once we get the futon in here we can have awesome movie parties.

Today was the first day of classes, and it went pretty well. Management is kind of scaring me. Costume and fashion is going to be a fun class casue I love history and I love drawing. Music History is exactly the same as last semester except a different time period so im not worried. And Theory 3, we got to meet the new teacher who is this cute little jewish man that I believe to be gay. He seems really nice, which is awesome and knows his stuff which is good.

Tonight was our House Meeting. Which was interesting. I hate ice breaker games lol. We played killer, and emily the killer and she was winking at me and i thought she was joking but she wasnt, but i refused to die, im such a party pooper! O well.

I had an awesome weekend with my friends!

Emily, Stacey, and Steve came to visit me, and we hung out in the pool, played pool, and went to six flags, and did the usual stuff like watch family guy and the OC. It was stupid to go to six flags on a saturday but hey we survived. All of the bitchy annoying people come to six flags for the weekends and casue trouble (cutting lines etc.) So from now on, only going during the week. Besides six flags it was a fun weekend. Got to catch up with all three of them. We are definatly going to have an interesting year at school lol.

Yesterday everyone went home, and then i got a call from my boss that he needed me for a wedding last night. I was really pissed off casue seriously, letting me know a few days before would be nice. So i ran around my house, trying to find my music and dress and everything, then finally made it to the wedding in time. I got to sing with the new singer Robert, who was in the London cast of Rent. And I got to sing with Natasha again which is always fun. And I made some money! always good.

So today, ive been working on arranging a few songs for the Sils, and working on cover artwork for the CD. But im kind of held back due to the fact that we need to take pictures and such. That will just have to wait til we get back to school.

Day off

So i decided to take a day off from the normal here in jersey to drive to lewisburg, PA. Of course my mom wouldnt let me drive by myself so she came along for the ride. Even though the day was rainy, it was great to see Dave and Janine. We went out for some lunch, drove around in janine's car for a bit. She gave us a wonderful tour of the wonderful town of lewisburg. We also went by the penetentiary! Creepy. lol. Then Janine had to go babysit again. Damn kids! lol jk kids are cute. So dave and I went to the campus theater and we saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I enjoyed it. It wasn't amazing but it was kind of cool to see the story for another directors perspective. Can i just say that I love Johnny Depp. He is a great actor, and he was really creepy in this movie. After the movie it was kind of late, so my mom picked me up said by to dave and then we headed back home. I wish i could have spent more time with both of them but its ok. We will be back at school in about a month or so.

Next weekend will be alot of fun too, have some people coming over. Figure out what we are doing with our room next year!
Now to return to cleaning...

Punta Cana

I am back from vacation with the familia. It was very chill, and I am tan which makes me happy, but of course going to another country, hardly ate anything due to the fact of getting sick lol. But after the first day of drinking 4 pina coladas (my favorite) We were told that your shouldnt drink alot of pina coladas or coco locos, cause they will get u sick o well too late! Over all good time. The Dominican REpublic is such a poor country and I am really grateful for what we have in the US.

We went on an ATV (quad) expedition you may say though the country side of Punta Cana. Driving through mud puddles, on the higuey lol (highway), riding on the beach, then we ended up at a Cave, which i jumped into. Freezing cold water. I never thought i would jump into that. It was so dark. I dont like going places where i dont know what is there. So i was alittle adventurous for that day. Driving really fast, getting covered in mud, and jumping into a frezzing cold dark cave.

Now I only have about a month and a half until i go back to school, so i want to get organized, and i want to visit friends, and just have a fun time.

Getting ready for vacation...

So next week I am going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, so excitied becasue I have never been there, or out of the country! I am going to get so tan! which makes me excitied. It will be fun and relaxing with the familia. So ive been organizing some stuff before I leave, like rehearsals and crap, and buying new clothes casue that is always fun.

I bought the kelly clarkson Cd which is really good. I really like her voice, i think i like her casue she sings songs, the way I would sing them. Belt the crap out of them!

Yesterday, Went to the mall with rich, searching for a birthday/grad gift for michie! and we got alot accomplished so proud.

Today i was supposed to go to six flags great adventure, but when we were about to go, we got a call from friends that were already there and said that it was so packed you could hardly walk and the lines were ridiculous, so that wasnt worth it especially since schools are now out, we gotta go early during the day.

Tommorw is fun party time again. To wish some of the grads congrats. Then Monday off to Punta Canna baby!

This weekend was interesting i guess... I started practicing with the band that i will be playing with at Bucknell for the october wedding, but i have to go down to red bank every thursday night, to this bar, that im technically not allowed to be in, to rehearse singing with my band. Hopefully the bouncer will remeber my name and what I look like so that I get in with no problem. It not like im gunna drink, but they have a sushi bar in the back of the bar! sushi rocks! So that was basically thursday.

I also learned alot over this whole rehearsal with the band, Never discuss marriage with a musician- that is what i heard from soemthing and i cant remeber where! But yea, seriously, these 40 year old guys that r in the band with me, arent the most trustworthy people to marry. OMG! cant deal.

Friday- Joe's B-day party! Happy birthday chico, so excited when Joe will come to visit me at Bucknell this semester! I wont be the only spanish person! lol JK Saturday- Went looking for a fathers day present and then went to see Batman Begins with Rich, and my brother Mark anthony. It was really good, it was realistic compared to the other movies, and it gives you a good foundation to the batman character which is nice! Sunday- Chilled with the familia, made awesome pina coladas! my favorite! Monday- Hmmm... today, Hung out with Lowy on this beautiful day. She called me this afternoon to let me know that she needed to get out of her house since all she heard was the vice prinicpal of our highschool butchering the seniors names at grad practice, since her backyard, is so close to the football feild! lol.

The TURTLE story!

Today was an off day alittle out of the ordinary. I drove my mom to work so that i can have the car to go work on some songs with my boss. That i will be singing for the bucknell wedding yay!

I get home from driving my mom to work and i back into the drive way and then all of a sudden my car makes a weird noise, like maybe i hit something, i pull up open my car door and their is a turtle in the middle of my drive way. ok keep in mind, i am in no way near any body of water, or a pond lol. So i was confused. I got out of the car and didnt know if i should just leave it there to wander in the heat. So then i came back out to see if it left, and the turtle had moved to hide under my car next to the wheel that i bumped it into. Either the turtle is suicidal or it was trying to find shade in this heat. So i felt bad, and i found a bucket in my garage filled it with alittle bit of water to coat the bottom and picked the turtle up with a shovel casue their is no way i was going to try and actually pick up the turtle.
So then i took the bucket and put it in the shade, and gave the turtle some lettuce, and then i had to leave to my bosses house, and then i just let my parents/brother deal with the rest lol.

So that is my turtle story for the day. It was interesting,never thought i would find a turle in the middle of my driveway! lol.

To add more weirdness to the day, my band director/boss is trying to hook me up with this new guy in the band lol. I found it amusing. And its really nice to hear that im beautiful even though its coming from a 40 year old lol. which is sad but its my band director and he's funnie like that. My self esteem was boosted today, casue i was told that i look good, by my boss, and my old spanish teacher which i got to visit today while i was rehearsing. Sr. FONT hes the best!

going crazy

The past two days have been hell. I havent been the happiest I can be. Im really missing my friends from Bucknell. I love my friends here, but alot of them are still in school, so not really seeing them much, and they kind of have their own little busy lives. And i love lowy, casue shes always there. But i've just been really emotional lately, and my parents get so pissed with me. I try to do everything they want me to do, but serisouly im not the same person i was when i left for school in August. My mom doesnt understand me right now, she says that she understands but i know she doesnt. she never went to college (including my dad), they never experienced this 2 lives thing that is going on. I wish that the 2 would just mesh but they dont right now. But u know what i cant complain, becasue i have a loving family, and great friends, no matter where i am.. Marlboro or lewisburg.

On top of that i wish i could be the girl who goes out has fun, and can hook up with random guys, but i just can't seem to do that, im not that type of girl, and it sucks casue no guys show any interest in me, errrr. And when they do, which is rare, something happends which screwes something up or postpones anything for happening. O well suck it up amanda! I guess im just thinking this way again casue i have the constent remninder of everyone having someone that they are "with" , and my cousin getting married geez! ill just be my patient little self, and try and sit back and relax.

Anyways, Thursday.. tommorw i have a gig with the band yay finally! Friday- have my neighbors grad party she just graduated for neighbor school susquehanna!, then a little fiesta i was invitied to woohoo!, and then sunday time to visit emily. we are having a fun dinner party with our families lol.

So what have i done lately???
Played Sims like woah! I joined Curves with the mommy! Inquiring about different possilble jobs.

Hanging out with Greg and Lowy at the Park, a different one this time. It was fun even though the fun only lasted for 2 min until we didnt want to walk further and we didnt want to play on the fun stuff casue there were to many children around, we should have went to my park, smaller and not alot of kids! well i like kids but not when we want to play on the swings lol.

Went shopping with the mommy, still havent really found a dress to the wedding this weekend (my cousin jessica) i did a week ago but my dad wont let me wear it casue he thought it wasnt fancy enough but its a summer wedding! I want to wear a colorful dress not black. So finally today i put on my dress and showed my dad, and he finally approved yay!!!! Now i have to find shoes casue the only clear shoes i have light up when you walk lol. I could wear white shoes but i dont want to. Clear is better.

I ordered karaoke of if i aint got you, alicia keys hopefully it will get here by friday. Im supposed to sing that this wedding. This is going to be interesting since practically the whole family who is going to his wedding has never really heard me sing. There are also people that wil be there that are my family but I really want to rub something in their face, since they think they are hot shit and snobby and i never complain. So this will be my silent way of saying something.

Tommorw im hanging out with Bryan! yay havent seen him in forever. going bowling! which I also havent done in a while.

NYC

Well, I have just returned from a wonderful, but gross day in the city with my two roomies! I love them so. Emily came over last night at we hung out watched phantom, and then woke up bright and early this morning and took the train into NYC to meet Stacey and her sister. It was alot of fun to see the girls again, and i misses Gruby so! (im starting to sound like emily uh-oh, signs of when you are hanging out with someone for too long lol)much love em!
We did a whole bunch of fun girlie stuff. We tried on dresses in Sax 5th Ave, and had lunch at the cafe, then went on a tour of NBC studios , who i believe is trying to brain wash their visitors whith a crazy movie. But i did get to see the set of SNL which was cool. Its tiny. And its a really good accoustic room, which means that whoever sucks on SNL really sucks lol. that reminds me of a simpson girl lol.haha. anyways. Then we went around NYC, walked alot, took the subway once, and taxis were nice when we had to travel far lol. We ended up eating at Planet Holloywood due to the crazyness.
Oh and it was fleet week which was nice, so we saw alot of sailors! woohoo! boys lol.
Anyways. I had alot of fun with my girlies! Can't wait for the 7th street house next semester in our triple which will be decked out. Everyone come visit! casue we love company! especially me! since these two wonderful ladies are already taken lol.
Next time we go to the city we will see a show. Havent seen one in a while. Besides Dracula, with the Res college which sucked lol. But did promote nightmares haha. Especially with Kelly! sry about the crazyness.

So i am hoping to get to hang out with a bunch of people this summer. Cause its so weird, when you r used to seeing these people everyday at school, and then ur home, and u feel like ur missing something. And dont get me wrong, it is home and i love him, but i also love my friends.

Well, yesterday i went to the choir concert at my highschool. Of course people ask me why would i go, but hey i was a choir dork so of course im gunna go even if some people wont go with me and make fun of me afterwards.
The senior solos were entertaining. And it sucks that im a music major casue i love to critique and it also sucks that i can pick out every little thing they do wrong. O well. but they did really well im proud of Mish , tammy, and jenna for being themselves. much love<3
We all went to applebees afterwards, it was fun to be around these guys again. They are definatly much different than my friends at Bucknell. But i have alot of fun with them and last night helped me remeber why i love hanging out with them. They may be loud and obnoxios at times, but they are hysterical, and then keep me laughing. Oh and Joe is maybe looking at Bucknell as a college choice! i like trying to get people to come and visit me lol.
Im in such a better mood now about being home which is great. I talked to my band leader and i am still working with my band this summer, just not as much, or just not yet, more in june... so yea that means ill have to maybe look for another job that will keep me busy.

This past week and 1/2 has been so confusing emotionally. Between leaving school, and just dealing with other things such as boys. I can't belive that the school year is over. It went so quickly. But i have made so many fun memories at Bucknell. I cant beleive that i wont be living on my freshman hall with all of the fun girls. But these next 3 years are going to be something to look forward to.

Then end of the school year means leaving the people i have become so close with. And alot of them live far away. which sucks but its alright. One thing that sucks is that after the musical theater showcase, I have made new friends and it was already the end of the year, but its ok. There is always next semester.

Today i just got back from recording with the Silhouettes. I drove back to school with the parents thursday night. Got there around 6ish. Had rehearsal visited Caroline in the dorm by herself lol. It was sad, i couldnt get back into my room and there was hardly anyone on the hall. Today was fun though, i travled with Dayna to lancaster bright and early, in the middle of nowhere, where we recorded and we got alot done, we layed down 5 tracks, then we got to my song, and we were having difficulties and we were tierd, so we decided that we have to look it over and we will come back to it the next session we have. o well. fun to listen to yourself sing! hehe.

Now i am home and i am tierd!
So im probably gunna chill and maybe clean my room alittle bit, organize some stuff, then go to bed. Tommorw is a brand new day!

So night before finals went pretty well last night, even though im not feeling the greatest.
Me and Steph went crazy with taking pictures of everyone.

The year is coming to a close, which is great casue im getting sick of stuying and everything, but im really going to miss everyone, Everyone here is like my second family and I love them all, but I am happy to go home and hang out with the familia, and friends, and sing with my band again.
Another thing that sucks is that i've just started getting closer with some new people i have recently gotten to know especially the musical theater people.

So here is the plan for the rest of the time at school:
Tommorw- Astro Final
The whole weekend is time to chill and not stress...
Monday- Study!
Tuesday- MUSC HIstory Final, then moving out..going home..
Thursday- Coming back to school, Sils Rehearsal
Friday- Recording with the Sils and then driving back home with Dayna!

Spring makes me so happy, well the allergies dont help, but everything else is beautiful especially on campus with all of the flowers and trees and the river. lol.
